AJA Vineyards is nestled in the Santa Monica mountains in the northern section of the Malibu Coast AVA. We have been producing Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon since 2011 and starting in 2016 we will be producing our Bordeaux blend. At AJA every wine we make is a reserve wine because we only allow the best fruit from our vineyards into our bottles. Winemaking is a passion for us. We are consumed with quality and we “reserve” all of our wine for our family, friends and customers alike.
Welcome to Black Hill Farms Family Vineyard. Our family property grown grapes are tended to with the finest of care.
The dream started with a desire to hold the soil on a mountain whose base is red lava rock and basalt. The Syrah Noir and Syrah 877 clones along with the Cabernet Sauvignon varietals are noted for their rich color, bouquet and feel on the tongue.
Living in the Mulholland Corridor for 25 plus years, Walt Miller purchased the 3.5 acre property and home next door in 2005. His mom and dad, Ron and Diane Miller, founded Silverado Vineyards in Napa Valley in 1980, so it was a intriguing idea to try the wine growing business on his own, and in 2006 and 2007 about a half acre of the property was planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache and Merlot, producing about 180 cases a year.

100% of the grapes used to produce our 2012 Dolin Malibu Estate Chardonnay were grown in our 900-vine vineyard situated in the hills of Malibu, just above Pacific Coast Highway, in the new Malibu Coast AVA. Our vineyard slope enjoys an ideal south-facing orientation, providing maximum sun exposure, and allowing for an early start to the growing season
Epona Estate is located in the Malibu Coast AVA; an American Viticultural Area as defined by the Dept. of Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Epona has planted select varietals suited for the area. Of the over 6,000 vines, the varietals include: Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Grenache and Chardonnay.
The properties proximity to the ocean offers the perfect environment for growing their award winning Chardonnay.
In the hills of western Malibu, single vineyards varietals are grown in a microclimate of mineral rich soils on a south facing hillside at an elevation of 1200 feet. Principe Vineyards are located in the serene setting of Hidden Valley, California. The picturest valley is cooled by the Pacific Ocean breeze and is warmed by the California sun. The perfect soil and the ideal weather conditions produce the finest grapes.
We are located within the beautiful Santa Monica Mountain range of Topanga, California. We grow our grapes on our hillside, crush the varieties into a field blend, and then age them in French oak barrels. Our wine goes well with a sunset and good food on the grill.
Sage Hill is a boutique vineyard in the Malibu hills, high above the Pacific Ocean. The south-facing location, rocky-terrain, and cool morning mists make it the perfect location for growing grapes for wine.
Open 7 days a week, and visitors 21 and over are welcome to taste wine with us from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. for tastings (last tasting begins at 6:30 p.m.).
Laced along the southern facing slopes of Malibu, our mountain vineyard soaks up the California sunshine and enjoys gentle Pacific ocean breezes throughout the year. The soil and climate in which the vines grow have significant influence on our Cabernet Sauvignon.
